High Salary Outfielders

Mookie Betts ($5,300) & Hanley Ramirez ($4,600): It could be a big day for the BoSox duo against the recently promoted young lefty Jayson Aquino. Don’t get too far down on Betts, who is coming off of a tough to swallow O-for outing against the Orioles on Friday. He can light up any part of the box score at will, and has a great chance to do so today. Meanwhile, Ramirez has hammered lefties over the past few years and could be in line for a jump start performance today.

Bryce Harper ($5,200): Harper is on an absolute tear right now, raising his average up to .407 on the year. He is hitting .631 over his last five games and is a .389 career hitter against Jacob deGrom. Harper is a must have in all formats.

Mike Trout ($5,200): Run, don’t walk towards Trout today. He’s running hot right now (.361 over the past 10 games) and is even getting active on the bases as well, stealing three bases over the past week. Trout will be opposed by young Casey Lawrence, who will be making his first start on the year and has not pitched in the Majors since April 9th.

Rank Em:

  1. Harper
  2. Trout
  3. Betts
  4. Kyle Schwarber ($5,000)
  5. Ramirez
