If the Buffalo Bills ever want to reach the playoffs again, they need to dream bigger. Over the years, Buffalo has been good enough to stay out of the top five picks, while usually settling somewhere in the middle of the round. Now, the Bills are once again in that mix, selecting 10th. General manager Doug Whaley retained quarterback Tyrod Taylor in the offseason, but did little else to bolster the club. The team watched Stephon Gilmore and Robert Woods both leave in free agency, leaving holes on both sides of the ball.
With the remaining board, Whaley has to be thinking about Corey Davis. While he played at a small school in Western Michigan, Davis was an utter terror in his four years there. Last season, Davis racked up 97 catches for 1,500 yards and 19 touchdowns. In his bowl game against the Wisconsin Badgers, the youngster had six receptions for 73 yards and a score, showing he can go against elite talent. The Bills need another playmaker for Taylor, giving him someone to pair with Sammy Watkins. Buffalo should address corner in the second round, but this pick needs to be a receiver who can make plays with his size and speed.
