DraftKings Daily picks: Fantasy baseball lineup – April 25
First Basemen
High Salary Option
Anthony Rizzo ($4,800): Rizzo’s hitting streak came to an end on Monday, while the rest of the Cubs lineup soared. He did make it to across the plate twice however on the back of two walks, while stealing a base as well. Regardless, he is still swinging very, very well right now and is a solid investment versus Gerrit Cole on the day.
High Value Option
Eric Hosmer ($3,900): Hosmer has been very slow to the season, but could be prepared for a nice stimulus package in the form of young Dylan Covey on Tuesday night. Covey has allowed nine runs over 10.1 innings and 15 hits in the process, while only striking out two. This is a peach of a chance to get a big payout from a player far more talented than the level he has played to so far.
Rank Em:
- Rizzo
- Ryan Zimmermann ($5,000)
- Paul Goldschmidt ($5,000)
- Freddie Freeman ($4,300)
- Matt Carpenter ($4,100)

Third Baseman
High Salary Option
Evan Longoria ($4,900): Longoria rips lefties, and he’ll get Wade Miley to square up against on Tuesday. Longoria has managed to take the southpaw deep already in his career and will have plenty of chances to duplicate that in the hitter-friendly confines of Camden Yard.
High Value Option
Chase Headley ($3,400): This is a chance to land a huge coup on the day, as Headley as been one of the hottest hitters in AL so far, and has a great personal pairing on the day against Rick Porcello. For his career, Headley has stroked to the tone of a .368 average (7-for-19), with three doubles and a home run. Looks like a nice play, especially with Porcello still trying gather himself this year.
Rank Em:
- Longoria
- Kris Bryant ($5,000)
- Nolan Arenado ($5,400)
- Manny Machado ($4,800)
- Headley
