The St. Louis Blues will host the Nashville Predators on Wednesday as the two Central Division foes start their second round series. Here’s how to watch.

Two teams pulled off massive upsets in the Western Conference side of the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The St. Louis Blues took out the Minnesota Wild in five games while the Nashville Predators swept the Chicago Blackhawks in four games. Now the two teams will square off against each other in the second round. Their series begins in St. Louis on Wednesday April 26 at 8:00 p.m. ET.

The Blues are trying to advance to the Western Conference Finals for the second consecutive postseason. Much like in their run in 2016, they’ve been getting outstanding goaltending. This time around, it has come from Jake Allen. He led the team to the upset over the Wild, especially during the first three games of the series. Vladimir Tarasenko was huge as well, providing a lot of scoring chances.

On the other end of the ice, the Predators are riding their own hot goaltender in Pekka Rinne. Nashville also relies heavily on their defense, led by Roman Josi, Ryan Ellis and P.K. Subban. Last year, they lost in the second round to the San Jose Sharks. In 2017, the Predators will look to advance to the first Western Conference Final in franchise history.

Nashville and St. Louis should have a defensively focused series. However, they both have scoring talent. It should be interesting to see which goaltender blinks first. Because whichever goalie goes cold first could be the one not going to the Western Conference Finals.
