The Chicago Bears pick third in the 2017 NFL draft. What are their other picks?

The Bears are coming off of an ugly season. This will be a big draft for the Bears and they will have to take advantage of every pick. Here is the Bears full draft order.’

Round 1 – 3rd overall
Round 2 – 36th overall
Round 3 – 67th overall
Round 4 – 111th overall
Round 4 – 117th overall
Round 5 – 147th overall
Round 7 – 221st overall

The Bears had money to spend this offseason and they acted accordingly. The first move they made was to sign Mike Glennon. While it was a 3 year, $45 million deal, it essentially leaves them with one year of major financial commitment. The Bears do not seem interested in taking a quarterback with the third overall pick, and are thinking that if they can build a solid team through the draft and free agency, that they can get by in the short term with Glennon.

Aside from quarterback, the Bears were active in spending on wide receiver depth. They signed both Kendall Wright and Markus Wheaton to potentially fill out their wide receiver depth. On defense, the Bears added Prince Amukamara and Quintin Demps. With those moves, the question becomes whether or not they will spend on cornerback or safety in the draft. Jamal Adams and Marshon Lattimore profile as top five players, but with moves already made on those positions they may look to a different direction.

With the moves they made, they hit a lot of their big needs. They will still need some depth at cornerback and safety and will looking be looking for some depth on the defensive line. However, their big weaknesses now lie on the offensive line, specifically the tackle position. It will be interesting to see how they maneuver this because it is not a great draft class for offensive lineman.
