DraftKings Daily picks: Fantasy baseball lineup – April 28
First Basemen
High Salary Option
Joey Votto ($4,700): While I praised the efforts of Lynn earlier on, he will need to keep Votto under wraps if he is to continue that run, and that is something he has struggled with historically. Votto is hitting a whopping .455 lifetime against Lynn over 22 at bats, with seven walks mixed in as well. He’s a very strong play tonight as a result.
High Value Option
Eric Hosmer ($3,800): Another Royal that is priced low due his slow start, but could benefit from tonight’s pairing against Gibson is Hosmer. Hos has eight career hits against Gibson, three of which have been doubles. Hosmer is coming in off his first three hit game on the year as well, so he could be getting ready for a nice rebound in May.
Rank Em
- Votto
- Paul Goldschmidt ($5,100)
- Eric Thames ($4,900)
- Freddie Freeman ($4,300)
- Ryan Zimmerman ($4,300)

Third Basemen
High Salary Option
Kris Bryant ($5,200): Lets see, we’ll get Bryant’s paired off against a handful of things that bode very well for a big night for him. He will see a lefty in Drew Pomeranz, who has an ERA close to 6.00 at home. And that stadium happens to be Fenway Park with its very enticing Green Monster in left for the Bryant to take aim at. It should be a massive night for the NL MVP.
High Value Option
Mike Moustakas ($3,100): This is nearly a criminal price for Moose tonight, who is the next Royal to appear in the very evident stack against Kyle Gibson. He is brings in a very solid resume against Gibson as well, with a .348 career average, with four walks, a homer and a triple.
Rank Em:
- Bryant
- Manny Machado ($4,700)
- Miguel Sano ($4,300)
- Nolan Arenado ($5,000)
- Jake Lamb ($4,500)
