2017 NFL Draft: Jacksonville Jaguars final draft grade
Smoot is a former team captain and great run defender. Dante Fowler was a major disappointment last season, and while Calais Campbell was added into the mix, Fowler is still going to see a lot of time. Smoot can at least compete to push Fowler, and going into 2018 may have beaten him out if things go wrong.
Westbrook is similar in size to Rashad Greene and the two will likely fight for playing time next season now. Westbrook is 23 years old and is rail thin, but he has great balance and can play with the ball in his hands. Greene and Westbrook will be a very interesting battle.
Brown brings a lot of speed that was not quite on the Jaguars last year. Paul Posluszny is still in the mix, but there is a thought of a linebacking corps featuring Brown, Myles Jack and Telvin Smith and that is one of the scariest thoughts of the weekend.
Myrick is all size and speed and little refinement. However, he can learn technically from a guy like A.J. Bouye and should make the team as the fourth cornerback.
White will be battling with Myrick and Doran Grant among others for a final roster spot. There is a chance he can win it with special teams play. With such a loaded cornerback class, why not take a shot on two with your last two picks?
