2017 NFL Draft grades: San Francisco 49ers
Williams is a speed back. He has a rough back story and bounced around in college, but when he played, big play ability followed. He is not an every down player and is a change of pace back, but Kyle Shanahan may be seeing the same breakaway speed as Tevin Coleman and hoping for a similar role to be carved out.
Kittle is the highest effort blocker in the class. He can help in the run game and help a below average offensive line. Kittle is also a good athlete, and despite being a limited route runner he can can play with the ball in his hands.
Taylor is a great slot receiver. He has great balance and short area quickness and could see the field early over Jeremy Kerley.
Jones is mainly a nose tackle, and will be a space clogger in San Francisco. With Earl Mitchell already added Jones will likely rotate behind him and beside him at times.
Undersized pass rusher who would have to win a job on special teams.
Colbert is a speed demon and a player who could make a living on special teams.
