The Los Angeles Clippers loss to the Utah Jazz earlier today marked Paul Pierce’s last NBA game, and he thanked people on twitter after.

Paul Pierce’s farewell tour officially came to an end on Sunday, after the Clippers were defeated by the Jazz during game 7 of their series. Pierce will be remembered mostly for his time with the Boston Celtics, where he spent his first 15 seasons there in the NBA.

Pierce will finish his career with averages of 19.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game. He was one of the main contributors on the Celtics’ championship team during the 2007-08 season, where he capped it off by winning the Finals MVP as well. Pierce also finished his career with 10 NBA All-Star appearances, with his last coming during the 2011-12 season.

Pierce took to twitter to thank his former colleagues in the NBA, his fans, the media, and most importantly his family for all the help and encouragement he received during his remarkable career.
