The trolling has been at an all-time high between teams this postseason, and the Spurs joined the fray, utilizing WWE superstar Mark Henry and a steel chair.

During a break in the series’ second game, WWE superstar Mark Henry came out onto the court in San Antonio holding a steel chair looking to do some damage.

Henry went right for a fake version of Clutch, the Rockets’ mascot, and delivered a solid steel chair shot that Vince McMahon would be proud of.

“Clutch” was obviously worried for his safety as Henry was on a bee line towards him, and pleaded for pity from Henry. The Spurs mascot, The Coyote, can be seen lying prone on the ground close by.

Despite being born in Silsbee, Texas, which is closer to Houston than San Antonio, Henry showed some support for the Spurs during Game 2 of their series with the Rockets. This isn’t the first time Henry has interacted with mascots at a Spurs game, as he once head butted the Spurs mascot during a game against the Portland Trail Blazers in 2012.

The incident joins the ranks of other trolls that teams have done in this year’s postseason, with most coming from the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round.

The Bucks most notably had a young girl kick over an inflatable Raptor in a halftime dunk contest during their matchup, in an attempt to fire fans up at home.

They also played the “Barney” theme song as the Raptors players were introduced for the first game of the series in Milwaukee.

While I’m sure Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich didn’t personally agree to Henry coming out and defending The Coyote, it surely helped to fire up fans in attendance in a pivotal series for the Spurs. The Spurs took a 65-55 lead into halftime, so maybe Henry helped to fire up the players for his favorite team, as well.
