Lavar Ball responded to the criticism of the insanely high price tag his son’s signature shoe costs. Basically it was in a fashion that we’ve come to expect.

Calling all Ballers! Lavar Ball and his son Lonzo Ball officially unveiled the ZO2’s earlier today, which are the first signature shoe of the Big Baller Brand. The shoes are priced at a ridiculously high $495, which set the social media spectrum into a frenzy.

Lavar responded to the criticism, and let’s just say we aren’t surprised with his witty response.

It seems as though the majority of the world are “Not Big Ballers,” because $495 for one pair of sneakers just can’t be justified by some, let alone by a startup company that nobody had heard of until a few months ago. The Big Baller Brand not only released a pair of shoes, but they also released a pair of Lonzo Ball flip flops. Spoiler alert, they are also being sold for a unexplainably high price at $220. We wish we were kidding.

With Lonzo Ball set to be drafted into the NBA this summer, Lavar made a statement that his son would only sign a shoe deal for $1 billion. Of course, no company was willing to pay that so they decided to make their own signature shoe through their family owned Big Baller Brand. Now that everybody has seen the shoes and flip flops, would you be willing to pay that price?
