Warriors forward Draymond Green went down with a leg injury late in the fourth quarter of Game 3 against the Jazz, as the team looked to take a 3-0 series lead.
Late in the fourth quarter of Game 3 against the Utah Jazz, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green went down with a leg injury.
While driving to the basket against Utah’s Rudy Robert, Green attempted a contested layup, made contact with Gobert, and fell to the floor after the miss. As he went to stand up after the attempt, he appeared to get up awkwardly and tweak his left knee.

Green left the game briefly and walked to the locker room under his own power, with many fans worrying about the injury. Some started to ponder if the Warriors would have some hiccups to overcome in their attempt to return to the NBA Finals.
However, the forward quickly jogged back to the bench, and the Warriors PR Twitter account quickly put fans’ minds at ease. The account just said Green “tweaked” his knee, and was likely to come back into the game.

Green was having one of his usual, masterful postseason performances for the Warriors, as they held a lead over the Jazz midway through the fourth quarter. Green had recorded his 11th career postseason 20-point game, tallying his second of the 2017 Playoffs alone.
Next: Every NBA team's greatest playoff moment
For now, it appears as if the Warriors avoided any major catastrophe in this year’s NBA Playoffs, after already having to deal with Kevin Durant’s injury early in the first round. Game 3 was well in hand for the Warriors, as they held a 20-point lead at one point, before the Jazz brought the game within 10.
Green’s presence was surely missed for the Warriors, but they can all breathe a sigh of relief as the forward is seemingly okay after the scary moment.
