Boston Celtics’ fans show their admiration for Kelly Oubre (Video)
In Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals between the Boston Celtics and the Washington Wizards, Celtics’ fans were showing love for Kelly Oubre.
There’s no love lost between the Washington Wizards and Boston Celtics. After an elbow from the Celtics’ Kelly Olynyk, the Wizards’ Kelly counter-part, Oubre, didn’t appreciate it at all. He charged at Olynyk and shoved him, even though the Celtics’ forward seemed to exaggerate the contact a lot worse than it actually looked. The referees in the game ejected him, but the NBA determined that Oubre should also be suspended for Game 4.
The Wizards’ second-year player made his return to action on Wednesday night in Boston for Game 5. As expected, the Celtics’ fans made sure to let everyone know that they wanted Oubre out on the court.

Oubre did check in to Game 5 for six minutes, adding five points on 2-for-3 shooting. On the season, Oubre scored 6.3 points and grabbed 2.6 rebounds per game in his 79 appearances in the regular season.
The Wizards’ forward has found time in the rotation, averaging 17.4 minutes per game. He’s constantly a burst of energy off the bench for the Wizards, which we saw in Game 3, when he went after Olynyk.
