Dirk Nowitzki and Shaq confirm they are regular customers at Rent-A-Swag
Dirk Nowitzki and Shaq did not do their fashion game any justice on Wednesday night, as they respectively tried to pull off some horrible looks.
Dirk Nowitzki and Shaquille O’Neal have been around for ages, but even they should know that what they each tried pulling off on Wednesday night was a big no-no.
Shaq utilized a move that many do whenever they’re on a Skype interview for that job they really want, or when they’re looking for that incredibly unique version of business-casual. The big man couldn’t have expected to make it through the TNT halftime show of the Boston Celtics-Washington Wizards game unscathed while rocking his outfit, but surely tried.
Of course, Charles Barkley, Ernie Johnson and Kenny Smith all went right at Shaq, dissing him for his suit and shorts combo. The look may have worked elsewhere, but when your suit jacket is the size of a regular-sized human being, and you’re trying to pull off cargo shorts, it really doesn’t click.
Meanwhile, Nowitzki showed off some clothes from the days when cavemen roamed the planet, turning to Twitter to ask about one of his outfits.
The Mavericks legend asked his followers if the attire he found while he was doing some “spring cleaning” would work, and he obviously got roasted.
Tom Haverford from the NBC hit Parks and Recreation would probably be proud of the NBA legends’ respective attempts with their looks. Don’t be surprised if you see any of these outfits in his Rent-A-Swag shop with Jean-Ralphio Saperstein close behind.

It’s pretty sad when you could have had Russell Westbrook walking around in his random outfits in the same studio as Shaq, or the same picture as Dirk, and he would’ve looked normal. Hopefully the two NBA legends can learn from social media, and keep those outfits in the closet where they belong.
