After the Wizards’ Game 6 victory against the Boston Celtics, Markieff Morris gave Stephen A. Smith a little love tap on the way to the locker room.

Can you already imagine Stephen A. Smith on Monday morning, saying “This is absolutely egregious, preposterous and extremely outrageous that Markieff Morris would even do this!!”

He’s sitting up there on First Take, yelling at the top of his lungs in disbelief that Markieff Morris gave him a little butt tap on the way back to the locker room. Let’s set the scene, shall we? It’s Game 6 in Washington and the Wizards are down 3-2 and facing elimination.

Wizards and Celtics go back and forth down the stretch and John Wall hits a game-winning three with a few seconds left in the game. Washington’s season will last for at least one more game and in that excitement, the Wizards’ players had no idea what to do.

John Wall jumped up onto the scorers’ table and was celebrating with the crowd. Confetti was dropping, like the Wizards had just won the series. Markieff Morris, with all of this excitement, decided to share it with ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith. In the tunnel, as Smith watched on as the Wizards forced a Game 7, Morris gives him a (little) butt tap heading back.

Stephen A. had no reaction as Morris whacked him, looking shocked and dumbfounded that it actually happened. It should be noted that Smith picked the Wizards to win Game 5 in Boston and eviscerated them after their no-show in that game.

Looks like Morris didn’t forget what Stephen A. Smith said about his team and reminded Smith who won Game 6 tonight. Regardless, there will be a Game 7 and if the Wizards win, Stephen A. Smith better watch out for his butt.
