26. Steve Smith Sr. rows the boat

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. was one of the most fearless competitors of his generation. He played with a certain tenacity that made him a larger than life on-field figure even though he was technically undersized. Not only would he score touchdowns on you, he’d find a way to make each one memorable.

From being a swash-bulking pirate to changing the football’s diaper to invisible snow angels, Smith kind of knew what he was doing. He will go down as not only a Pro Football Hall of Famer, but arguably the most underrated touchdown dance creator of his era.

His most notable touchdown celebration would have made Minnesota Golden Gophers head coach P.J. Fleck proud. Remember that time Smith rowed that boat? Yes, because it was awesome and the ref absolutely hated it. It was also pretty cool how he trolled the Minnesota Vikings about their boat party scandal going on that the time.

Smith would find pay dirt, diving across the goal line. He would just sit on his behind in the left side of the end zone and just started rowing a boat. As the referee got closer to tell him to stop, Smith went into double time mode, going at least twice as fast as any sedentary canoe could ever go. Of all the touchdown dances that Smith did over the years for the Panthers and Baltimore Ravens, this is the one that sticks with us. Row that boat!
