Red Nose Day is an annual event held to help end child poverty, and we’ve got all the details you need to tune into the fun specials and watch online.

There are a-many things wrong in the world that go far beyond what we see happening in the United States. Since cancer, starvation, and poverty are still awful things occurring in the world, Comic Relief bands together for Red Nose Day.

Originally, the Red Nose Day telethons began in the ’80s under Richard Curtis and Lenny Henry. Of course, Curtis is known for penning such scripts as Bridget Jones’ Diary, Notting Hill, and Love Actually.

Which is why you’ve probably seen Love Actually things such as the video below.

However, the Red Nose Day events in the United States are a lot more recent. While still under the Comic Relief umbrella, NBC’s Red Nose Day events began in 2015.

Here’s the explanation from NBC and an idea of what’s in store this year:

"Celebrating Red Nose Day for the third year in a row, NBC has anchored a special night of programming on Thursday, May 25 with Chris Hardwick hosting the “The Red Nose Day Special” at 10:00 p.m. In addition, Academy Award winner Julia Roberts and other stars partake in Red Nose Day-themed programming throughout the night that both entertains viewers and gives them an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of kids in need."

Of course, there’s a lot of festivities planned for the night, including the celebrity American Ninja Warrior with appearances from Parenthood‘s Erika Christensen and Arrow‘s Stephen Amell, which starts at 8 p.m. ET. But for the main Red Nose Day portion, check out the details below for when to watch:
