In the season finale of Lucifer, our handsome devil must deal with his increasingly dangerous mother. Here’s the synopsis of “The Good, the Bad and the Crispy.”

We’ve reached the season finale of Lucifer and things are not going well for Lucifer’s family. Last week, Lucifer’s mother helped solve a murder case, but she also burned the culprit alive when he stabbed her in the stomach, releasing her powerful fire-light from the wound. With Charlotte bursting with power, Lucifer knows he must do something to stop her.

With all of the pieces of the blade reunited, there’s no reason that the family can’t return to Heaven now, but Lucifer knows that his mother is dangerous and she shouldn’t be left alone. Now he has to hide all evidence of the accidental murder before Chloe can find out, which puts him back into the crosshairs of lost trust once again. Poor Lucifer is only trying to protect his partner and his family, and it never turns out well for him.

Maze is on a mission to find Amenadiel and Charlotte while Lucifer works to cover up the evidence of what happened. Since Amenadiel now knows he’s the one who was given the key to leaving Earth, his outlook has changed quite a bit. He sees himself as the Good Son, the one who was entrusted with such an important duty. Amenadiel used to think Lucifer was the Golden Son, but this revelation has changed everything. Even though Amenadiel also suspects something isn’t right with Charlotte, he now knows that his father chose him, so perhaps his mother’s love isn’t the only thing he needs anymore. Will this cloud his good judgement?

One thing is for sure: Lucifer has his hands full.
