1. Markelle Fultz, PG, Washington

Fultz leading this list shouldn’t surprise anyone, as he is projected to be the first overall pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. Fultz also proved to have a nice all-around game, but his scoring ability is far and away the best in this class. His ability to score in the paint at will, and his great range on his jump shot helped him average over 23 points a game in his lone season at Washington. Fultz is also a better defender than most people recognize, and has the size and athleticism to defend both guard positions.

Fultz has great size at the point guard position as well, and his intangibles for the game will help him transition to the NBA faster than most rookies. His size and scoring ability also give him the versatility to play the shooting guard position, if he has to share the floor with another point guard who is undersized. Fultz is also a very unselfish player, and set up his teammates for effortless baskets more often than not. Perhaps Fultz’s most impressive feature that not many people speak about is his poise and composure.

Despite his great shooting ability, Fultz really struggled from the charity stripe as he only managed to make 65 percent of his attempts there. He will need to shoot at a higher clip from there in order to aid him against NBA defenses who could game plan around that in late-game situations. Fultz is still very young and despite the incredible abilities he already possess, he is only going to get better. Fultz definitely has what it takes to become an NBA All-Star someday, and potentially even greater things than that.
