Be careful what you promise on Twitter, because it just might come true. That’s what an Oklahoma fan realized when he had to get a Baker Mayfield tattoo.

There’s always the people on Twitter that ask famous stars for a variety of things, while giving them something in return. People are getting more and more creative with what they ask for, with this Oklahoma fan going to an extreme.

Kenneth Holzhammer, a fan from Fort Polk South, Louisiana, didn’t know what he was getting to when he tweeted this last week:

Baker Mayfield didn’t hesitate one bit, immediately re-tweeting Holzhammer’s message. You would’ve thought that the crazed OU fan would have reneged on his word and not gotten the tattoo…nope.

Here’s the tattoo that Holzhammer got, which he tweeted earlier on Friday:

Personally, I would’ve expected something a lot smaller, but this fan decided to go all out. It looks like he got a Mayfield tattoo on the back of his leg. Although the tattoo doesn’t really resemble the Oklahoma Sooners’ QB, the jersey number and beard give it away.

If I was Holzhammer, instead of asking for a retweet, I would’ve pushed for a 12-0 season from Oklahoma and a College Football Playoff berth before getting Mayfield’s face inked on my skin. But according to the report from CBS, Holzhammer had a drink before sending out the tweet. Alcohol or not, props to him for actually following through on it.

Not only did I give him respect, so did Mayfield, who sent a direct message to the fan after seeing the tattoo on Twitter.

Not bad for a tattoo. Get Baker Mayfield to direct message you and possibly free tickets to an Oklahoma home game. All you have to do is keep your Twitter promise and get Baker Mayfield’s face ink-ed onto your skin.

No pressure on Mayfield, who’s trying to lead Oklahoma to the CFB Playoff after a down season. He’s lost a lot of weapons, but he’s got a fan who’s willing to go any distance for him.
