Bill Belichick spoke with the media following Gisele Bundchen’s comments surrounding her husband Tom Brady’s concussion

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has finally broken his silence on Gisele Bundchen, wife of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, recent comments surrounding the multiple concussion she alleges her husband has received in his career.

Meeting with media, Belichick deflected several questions regarding his role in accessing Patriots’ signal caller’s health and the fact the organization has never filed a formal injury report for any such concussions.

“We file an injury report every week,” said Belichick. “We file our reports in compliance with league guidelines.”

These comments came just a few weeks after Budchen spoke on her husbands brain truama during an appearance on Good Morning America.

“I just have to say, as a wife, I’m a little bit — as you know, it’s not the most, let’s say ‘unaggressive’ sport, right?”said Bundchen. “Football, like he had a concussion last year. I mean, he has concussions pretty much every year. We don’t talk about it, but he does have concussions.”

When pressed if any player had ever approached him with a concussion or if he felt any responsibility, Belichick once again deflected the questions.

“Our medical staff really handles the injury situation with players,” said Belichick. “the players don’t come to me and I don’t treat them for injuries. THat’s not really my job. THat’s what we have medical staff for.”

This controversy could not come at a worst time for the Patriots organization, who are only a few months removed from winning their fifth Super Bowl, all of which came from during Brady-Belichick era.
