Here’s a full list of the 12 horses racing in the main event of the 2017 Belmont Stakes.

On June 10, horse racing fans will say goodbye to the Triple Crown season with the running of the 2017 Belmont Stakes. It will be held at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York. Post time will be scheduled for 6:37 p.m. ET with coverage starting at around 3:00 p.m. ET. NBC has the coverage, and you can watch all the happenings on NBC Live Extra.

12 horses will be participating in the Belmont Stakes this year. None of them are Always Dreaming, the winner of the Kentucky Derby, or Cloud Computing, the winner of the Preakness Stakes. However, there are still quite a few familiar names in the field. Most notably, Gormley and Lookin at Lee, both of whom raced at the Derby and Preakness, are racing at Belmont. Irish War Cry, to no one’s surprise, is the odds on favorite to win.

Here’s a list of the horses racing, along with their trainer and jockey. This list is sorted by post position.

Even though there won’t be a Triple Crown winner this year, don’t think this year’s race won’t be exciting. Need a horse to root for? Patch only has one eye. He’s a great feel good story. Patch doesn’t have great odds, but then again, he’s overcome a lot worse.
