The 2017 College World Series bracket is now set as eight teams have emerged from the NCAA Baseball Tournament and head to Omaha

The NCAA Baseball Tournament began with 64 teams with the hopes of going to Omaha for the 2017 College World Series. After intense Regionals and Super Regionals, however, only eight teams remain as they’ve all punched their tickets to the College World Series where they’ll vie for a National Championship.

Coming into the Super Regionals, there were a number of dark horses that looked to be following in the footsteps of last year’s title winners, Coastal Carolina. The likes of Davidson, Missouri State and several others all had eyes on making it to the College World Series. But with the dust settled, that’s no longer the case as it’s almost exclusively powerhouse programs heading to Omaha.

With the likes of Louisville, LSU and Florida involved, you might think that they’d be the favorites. However, that’s not so much the case. The Oregon State Beavers are still reigning supreme above the rest. They went through the regular season only suffering an unfathomable four losses. That total has remained the same as they’ve yet to drop a game in the tournament.

That being said, this is still anyone’s game. Things always get wild when the action heads to Omaha when the stakes are at their highest. So what will the road through Omaha now look like? Here’s a look at the 2017 College World Series bracket (for a printable version, click on the image):

Again, Oregon State remain the favorites. However, there are five national seeds from the tournament still remaining. What’s more, there is major league caliber talent littered throughout the College World Series. As such, you won’t want to miss an ounce of the action ready to transpire in Omaha.
