We have the full schedule of events for the 117th US Open golf tournament.

The US Open is set to tee off on June 12 and we have the full schedule of events in detail for you here at FanSided. The tournament is held in Erin, Washington at the Erin Hills golf course.

Practice rounds (June 12-14)

If you’re trying to catch some pre-action before the action, the practice rounds are the way to go. The golfers will be out from Monday, June 12, through Wednesday, June 14. The players have to option of starting from either the 10th tee or the first. Typically, players are on the course until 7 p.m.

  • Monday, June 12 (Gates open 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.)
  • Tuesday, June 13 (Gates open 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.)
  • Wednesday, June 14 (Gates open 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.)

U.S. Open rounds 1 and 2 (June 15 and 16)

The tournament is set to begin at 6:45 a.m. and the last groups to play are at 2:42 p.m. at both the first and tenth tee.

  • Thursday, June 15 (Gates open 6 a.m. to conclusion of play)
  • Friday, June 16 (Gates open 6 a.m. to conclusion of play)

U.S. Open rounds 3 and 4 (June 17 and 18)

After the conclusion of the second round, the tee times will be announced for the third and fourth round. The cut for the later rounds is the top 60 players and anyone who is tied for 60th. Golfers usually tee off between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. and finish around 3 p.m.

  • Saturday, June 17 (Gates open 6 a.m. to conclusion of play)
  • Sunday, June 18 (Gates open 6 a.m. to conclusion of play)

Playoff (June 19)

After 72 holes, if there is still a tie for the lowest score, an 18-hole playoff will be held.
