Tim Tebow has had some solid moments in his minor league career, and even his strikeouts are getting impressive.

Tim Tebow and his Tebowmania is running wild in the minor leagues, whether he’s hitting home runs, making diving catches, or just simply striking out.

In a game on Saturday night for the Columbia Fireflies against the Charleston RiverDogs, Tebow found himself in some embarrassing territory, as he pulled a Little League move and lost control of his bat on a wild swing for the at-bat’s second strike. He followed that up by striking out swinging on the next pitch.

Daren Stoltzfus, a reporter for WCIV in Charleston, SC, captured video of the incredible swing-and-miss for Tebow, which saw his bat fly into the second deck. It wasn’t the pitch that struck the former NFL star out, but it’s still hilarious nonetheless.

We were due for some embarrassing Tebow moments in his minor league career, given the way he’s managed to avoid complete failure for the Fireflies this season. He’s currently batting .228 for Columbia, with three home runs and 21 RBI.

Tebow has had some highlights to add to his reel this season, as he’s launched homers and made some awkward-looking diving catches in the outfield to help his team out. He won’t be making his way to the majors anytime soon, so we won’t see him flinging bats into the stands at Citi Field for a while, if at all.

Even so, it’s crazy that even Tebow’s failures can be more impressive than others. The best part is it’s likely pretty hard to chuck a bat that hard and that far if you’re trying on purpose, let alone accidentally.

Either way, let’s all just sit back and enjoy this Tebow failure, and hope we get a few more moments like these throughout the year.
