Blake Griffin may have just revealed where he wants to play next season.

Blake Griffin has been with the Los Angeles Clippers ever since he was drafted by the team in 2009. Since then, he has grown to be a fan favorite with his fast-paced game, high-flying dunks, and sense of humor. He also became really good friends with Chris Paul and many of the other Clippers, so you wouldn’t really expect him to want to play for another team anytime soon.

But while he was on “Pardon My Take” on Sunday, Griffin, who is expected to opt-out of his final year and enter free agency this summer, may have revealed that he plans to leave Los Angeles. While on the podcast, Griffin was asked what his “Mt Rushmore of the best NBA Cities” were, and he listed, in this order, New York, Phoenix, Toronto, and Boston.

He gave reasons for all the cities he picked, such as saying that the Madison Square Garden arena in New York is one of the most fun places he played, that he loves the culture in Toronto, and that Phoenix is a young town with nice weather.

However, his most interesting pick is Boston, a city with a team that is rumored to have interest in signing him this offseason. About a week ago, Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical speculated that Griffin is one of the Celtics “primary free agent targets,” while the other being the Utah Jazz’s Gordon Hayward.

If these rumors do come into fruition, Griffin would be a good addition to the Celtics, a team who needs another star player to compete with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference.

Griffin averaged 21.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 4.9 assists in 61 games last season.
