The College World Series dream will come to an end for either Cal State Fullerton or Florida State in Omaha on Monday afternoon.

The dream of making the College World Series is what every team strives for. Unfortunately, it takes just a quick two games for one team to see their dream come to a halt each season. On Monday, Cal State Fullerton or Florida State will face off in an elimination game.

Both of these schools would love to win and fight to see another day. If they do, they’ll get the loser of the game between the Oregon State Beavers and LSU Tigers. The loser will pack their bags and head home on Monday.

Cal State Fullerton would love another shot at Oregon State if they could get the opportunity. The team had a nice lead on the juggernaut before blowing it later in the game. It is motivation enough they can hang with anyone.

Likewise, Florida State lost a tough game to LSU. They wouldn’t mind getting another opportunity at the Tigers as well to show that they can get the upper hand on the team that handed them their first loss of the College World Series.

Or the potential for a new battle is there as well. Whatever the case may be, one team is for sure going home on Monday. Whichever team does get sent packing, will be a talented one that made it a great distance this season.
