Offense

Notable Losses:
The Miami Hurricanes are going to have to do a lot of work with their offense to remain in contention. If chasing an ACC crown is the goal, they’re going to have to now prepare for life without Brad Kaaya, David Njoku, and Stacy Coley. Those were big impact players for the team that led them to nine wins.

QB: Malik Rosier, RS Junior

The answer for replacing Kaaya could be Malik Rosier. The quarterback spot might not be set in stone just yet. Rosier is a dual-threat option that has the potential to be dynamic but he has to show first the consistency needed out of the spot.

RB: Mark Walton, Junior

With a new quarterback in place, expect Walton to get a ton of touches on offense for the Hurricanes. Walton rushed for over 1,000 yards last season and really began to heat up at the end of the year. He has the potential for a big season with accolades to follow.

WR: Lawrence Cager, Junior

WR: Braxton Berrios, Senior

WR: Ahmmon Richards, Sophomore

This is where things will also get interesting for Miami. With a new quarterback also comes new receivers. Losing Coley and Malcolm Lewis means that Ahmmon Richards is going to have to top his incredible production from last season. He’s a star in the making and Miami needs to get him the ball as much as possible.

TE: Christopher Herndon, Senior

Losing Njoku is going to be tough for Miami. Christopher Herndon is the next man up and is going to have to provide that Senior-level experience for this roster. Becoming a reliable option for Rosier early is a must.

LT: Tyree St. Louis, Junior

LG: Trevor Darling, Senior

C: Nick Linder, Senior

RG: KC McDermott, Senior

RT: Navaughn Donaldson, Freshman

The bright spot that the Hurricanes have on offense is a majority of the offensive line returning. Having a veteran-heavy line to protect a new quarterback is always a plus for any team. This should make the transition a lot easier for Miami.
