Kawhi Leonard is improving his offensive game to match with his defensive greatness. A new commercial’s making the case that he’s the best two-way player.

The San Antonio Spurs have transitioned from an era with Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker to an era with Kawhi Leonard. The Spurs’ new quiet superstar has been fantastic, improving each of the last three seasons.

Leonard is a two-time defensive player of the year and his extraordinary wingspan has been a limiting factor against opposing forces. His offensive game is catching up to his defensive prowess, as he was the focal point of the offense this past season.

With LeBron James and Kevin Durant in the fold, Kawhi Leonard is right with the other two as the best players in the NBA. So check out this new commercial, that makes the case for Leonard as the best two-way player in the game.

Many consider LeBron to be the best overall player, Durant to be the greatest scorer and offensive player and the Klaw to be the best two-way player in the league. Check out the commercial below that shows the case for Leonard.

So, let’s bring up the debate: Can Kawhi Leonard score on Kawhi Leonard? I’m going to vote No. I think Leonard is a far better defensive player than he is offensive player. Hence, the likelihood of Leonard making a move on himself to score doesn’t seem that likely.

The Spurs’ star had better offensive statistics this year, scoring 25.5 points and grabbing 5.8 rebounds per game. Leonard took on a greater offensive role in San Antonio, leading to a slip in his defensive performance. That allowed for Draymond Green to likely win Defensive Player of the Year.

He’s still a great two-way player, but the best in the NBA? I don’t know, if you ask people in Akron, they’re going to say LeBron James, while people in San Antonio will say Kawhi Leonard.
