Kevin Harvick picked up his first win of the season at the 2017 Toyota Save Mart 350 at Sonoma. How do the NASCAR Cup Series standings look after?

Since Stewart-Haas Racing switched to Ford, it’s been a bit of an adjustment period for Kevin Harvick. So much so that he hadn’t won a race in 20 tries since his previous victory. On Sunday, Harvick put that streak to rest with a win at Sonoma. He also pushed himself up the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series standings.

With a win on the year, Harvick is once again going back to the NASCAR postseason. Kyle Larson stayed in front of Martin Truex Jr. for the most points during the race. Although Truex Jr. won the first stage and was in line to take back the points lead, engine failure moved him to second.

Harvick moves to third in points with the win. With a bunch of different winners this season thus far, only six spots remain for a spot in the Chase on the year. Considering that Joe Gibbs Racing has yet to pick up a win, time is quickly running out. Here are the official NASCAR Cup Series standings after Sonoma.

High speeds return next week with Daytona. It will be the last time that Dale Earnhardt Jr. runs at the track in his career. Will he pull off the win and earn a playoff spot?
