With WWE RAW heading to Los Angeles on Monday, June 26, there’s a chance that the legend Stone Cold Steve Austin might make a surprise appearance

There aren’t many instances where WWE RAW holds back when they head to a city like Los Angeles, CA. It’s one of the biggest markets in the world (obviously), so the company tries to pull out all of the stops. With word that LaVar Ball might be appearing on Monday, June 26 in LA, that’s one big potential surprise. However, a WWE legend might be returning to RAW.

Stone Cold Steve Austin hasn’t been seen on WWE television in some time. Ahead of RAW in Los Angeles, though, there is at least a hint that the Texas Rattlesnake could be making an appearance.

WWE Shop Express often releases shirts specific to cities where RAW and SmackDown are taking place and the superstars set to appear. And on Monday morning before the episode in LA, there was a new shirt added with Stone Cold’s insignia and the phrase “Los Angeles 3:16”.

Does this 100 percent confirm anything about a surprise appearance? Of course not. WWE is in the business of making money. And despite not having wrestled in close to a decade, Stone Cold is still a moneymaker for them. There is at least a chance that they would just be trying to move some more merchandise.

With that being said, it’s certainly fortuitous that RAW would be building towards a pay-per-view they’re trying to build up (Great Balls of Fire) as something big and is in a huge market. That makes a big surprise like Stone Cold appearing plausible.

Though we can’t say anything definitively about a surprise from Austin, it’s safe to assume we all want to hear the glass shatter. And maybe, if we’re lucky enough, some Steve-weisers will be chugged on RAW in Los Angeles.
