Denver Nuggets

Denver is a blossoming collection of players that are becoming increasingly fun to watch. The emergence of Nicola Jokic from afterthought to budding unicorn makes this squad a League Pass delight.

With whispers now bubbling to the surface that the Clippers are scanning for places to move DeAndre Jordan, Denver should throw their hat in the ring.

Nuggets Get
C, DeAndre Jordan; SF, Wesley Johnson
Clippers Get
PF, Kenneth Faried; F/C, Darrell Arthur, PG, Emmanuel Mudiay; F, Tyler Lydon

The major facet the Nuggets lack on the court is rim protection. Jordan, capable of clearing the Rocky Mountains in a single bound, would solve that immediately.

Denver has been non-committal to Kenneth Faried for years now. Faried, while tenacious, is a guy whose game relies on athleticism. As that declines with age, so will his effectiveness. Move him now while his value is relatively good.

The Clippers would get a melange of forwards and more manageable contracts to keep or flip. Plus, they’d garner the reclamation project of Emmanuel Mudiay. Perhaps under the wing of Chris Paul, Mudiay’s tremendous potential could be unlocked.
