The Cal Golden Bears are beginning their venture with Under Armour this season and they showed off some new uniforms on Wednesday.

With the college football season really around the corner, it’s that time of the year where we get a look at some of the new uniforms for the upcoming season. On Tuesday, the Arizona Wildcats gave us a glimpse of what they’ll be wearing on the field this coming season, and on Wednesday, another member of the Pac-12, the Cal Golden Bears, showed everyone their threads for the upcoming season.

As opposed to Arizona’s reveal of quite a few uniform combinations, Cal only revealed their home uniforms on Wednesday. However, there is a little more meaning behind their reveal. This is the first season that the school will be wearing uniforms designed by Under Armour, as they signed a 10-year deal last season with the outfitter that begins this season.

Have a look at the new Cal Under Armour uniforms below.

Some looking at these new uniforms might not see the big difference here, but again, this is all really about the new partnership with Under Armour. The aforementioned 10-year deal is worth around $8.6 million for the school, so you wanna show off as much of these as you can.

Now, we’ll see if these new Under Armour uniforms can translate to some more wins for Cal Football this coming season. Following an 8-5 campaign in 2015, the team dropped to 5-7 in 2016 and is now looking for more success under the direction of first-year head coach Justin Wilcox. They really couldn’t seem to get it going under Sonny Dykes and the Air Raid system, so we’ll see if the change to Wilcox will be the start of success for the Golden Bears program.
