Does ABC’s Boy Band season 1 have the right stuff to win over TV viewers? Here’s how you can watch season 1, episode 2 live, on TV and online.

While ABC‘s Boy Band wanted to be a smash hit, so far it’s not charting with TV audiences. Can the singing competition’s second week improve its standing before the music stops?

Season 1, episode 2 is called “Who’s Got The Right Stuff” and right now, the answer to that question is not Boy Band. The show’s two-hour premiere last Thursday drew just 3.1 million viewers in its first half and fell to 2.8 million in the second part. Boy Band was down more than 20 percent in the adults 18-49 demographic compared to last year’s episodes of BattleBots. That’s not how you make a hit record.

But Nick Carter, Emma Bunton and Timbaland will continue looking for the next music stars this week with the help of host Rita Ora. Will they find someone in the next group who’ll help make the show a star, too? There’s only one way to find out.

Here’s how ABC officially describes the episode:

"In the second week of competition, we follow another group of six young vocalists as they come together as a band, rehearse and perform on stage for architects Emma Bunton, Nick Carter and Timbaland. The architects are then faced with deciding which member of the band will go home while the remaining five continue on their journey to stardom."
