Jaromir Jagr posted a very sad Throwback Thursday photo on Twitter after not getting much interest from NHL teams.

Jaromir Jagr is nothing short of a treasure. Whether it’s his free flowing mullet, his timeless body or his priceless jokes, hockey fans can’t help but adore him (unless you’re a fan of the Washington Capitals). Jagr hasn’t experienced free agency too often in his career, but unless the Florida Panthers re-sign him before July 1, he’ll be a free agent.

Lots of players are getting tons of interest in free agency. Jagr, sadly, is not one of them. So he went on Twitter and posted the most epic and depressing Throwback Thursday picture of all-time.

Yes, Jagr has been around that long. He’s the only active player who has played with Mario Lemieux before his brief post-2005 lockout comeback. Jagr has won two Stanley Cups, both with the Pittsburgh Penguins. But this picture is easily the highlight of his post-Pittsburgh career. Classic Jagr, always making fun of himself.

If the Panthers don’t sign the man with the mullet, he’ll definitely get interest around the league. Someone’s going to think “hey, that old man in Florida is still pretty good at hockey” and give him a shot. The Vegas Golden Knights would be perfect for Jagr. He’d get to play in Vegas and the Golden Knights would get a bonafide star (albeit a very old one).

Jagr, despite his age, is still a very impressive forward. In 2015-16, he put up 46 points at the age of 44. Jagr has been taking one-year deals at this point, reviewing his future after each season. It’s hard to think he won’t get much interest should he hit free agency. Especially after that sad Throwback Thursday picture he posted on Twitter.
