As a noisy part of the cacophony that is “homemade podcast[s] and basement bloggers,” we at Fastbreak Breakfast usually have no problem calling out our enemies. First of all, we have autonomy over our content (though at any time our friendly overlords at The Step Back could kick us to the curb). Second, we are incredibly unimportant. Anonymity allows freedom. Finally, we are good-natured folk, and we don’t actually have REAL enemies. We are just embracing the long-standing sports tradition of booing from the safety of the internet. We aren’t wishing actual ill or harm on anyone.

That being said, the schadenfreude was strong this week. The last few days saw the end of both the Lob City Clippers and the “How’s It Goink” era. While we will probably eventually miss the easy content, we will not shed a tear for either. I think Mikhail Prokhorov said it best:

So as we race into free agency, pour yourself a cup of coffee and enjoy a new episode of Fastbreak Breakfast. Cause while the league might rapidly change in the next few days, we can always revel in the misery of others.
