Jim Harbaugh looks to lead the Michigan Wolverines to a National Championship in 2017, and we take a look at the projected depth chart for the season.

For much of last season, Jim Harbaugh’s Michigan Wolverines looked to be on their way to a title — or at least playing in the College Football Playoff. However, a late-season blunder against Iowa and then a gut-wrenching loss to rivals Ohio State pushed them out. Their postseason didn’t end well, either, as they were toppled in a thriller by Florida State. Suffice it to say, things didn’t turn out as hoped or planned for Michigan.

With that season behind them now, though, there are now plenty of questions for the Wolverines entering the 2017 season. More so than almost any program in college football, Michigan suffered dramatic losses by way of the NFL Draft. On both sides of the ball, the Wolverines have big holes that they must fill in.

However, Harbaugh has done a phenomenal job recruiting since arriving in Ann Arbor. So while the Wolverines may not have the experience they did last year, the talent level may still be on par. It’s all about these younger players stepping up. And, in truth, it’s also about what kind of quarterback play Michigan can get in 2017.

Having all of that in mind and with all of these changes, let’s take a look at some of the new faces ready to play in the Big House. Here is a projection for the 2017 Michigan football depth chart, starting with the offense.
