Panama face Nicaragua at the Raymond James Stadium on Wednesday, July 12. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Panama will be hoping to get their first win of the 2017 Gold Cup when they face the tournament outsiders, Nicaragua, on Wednesday. Hernán Darío Gómez’ team began their campaign with a 1-1 draw against the USA in Nashville.

Panama have actually drawn their last four games in all competitions, but will be confident of winning this match. Miguel Carmago scored the equalizer against the USA, so will be full of confidence ahead of this match.

Panama have twice been runners up in this competition, and if they want to go one better this time around then they will need to beat the tournament outsiders in this game.

The teams last met in January, with Panama winning 2-1 in a Copa Centroamericana match. Nicaragua did win the meeting prior to that though, so they will harbour hopes of an unlikely victory here. The previous meeting was a friendly though, so a Nicaragua win here is still a tall order.

Henry Duarte’s team begain their Gold Cup campaign with a defeat. Kévin Parsemain and Steeven Langil scored either side of half time as Martinique ran out 2-0 winners. Nicaragua have not won any of their last four matches. They last tasted victory when they beat Haiti 3-0 in March.
