It’s Day 4 of the SEC Football Media Days, featuring four different coaches and players from South Carolina, Ole Miss and Auburn.
The SEC, one of the best conferences — or THE best, if you ask people in the South — in College Football, is set to have one of it’s biggest annual kickoff events. The four-day extravaganza that is SEC Media Day is began this week on Monday, July 10 and will last through Thursday, July 13. As always, it’s being held at the Hyatt Regency Birmingham-Wynfrey Hotel Hoover, Alabama.
On Monday, we heard from Arkansas’ Bret Bielema and Austin Allen. LSU’s head coach Ed Orgeron and Derrius Guice headlined the first day with their quotes. Tennessee followed with Butch Jones and a few of their seniors.
On the second day, four schools had their official media obligations. That included Florida’s Jim McElwain, Georgia’s Kirby Smart, Vanderbilt’s Derek Mason and Mississippi State’s Dan Mullen. Nick Chubb was one of the popular interview among the players on Day 2.
Day 3 featured some of the heavyweights. Alabama’s Nick Saban, Minkah Fitzpatrick and Calvin Ridley stole the show. Kentucky and Missouri also showed up on Wednesday. Texas A&M’s Kevin Sumlin and Christian Kirk spoke as well to the media.
