Suits season 7 continues Wednesday with Donna and Harvey in trouble with the partners. Here’s the official synopsis for Season 7, Episode 2.

Now that USA‘s Suits is back for season 7, there’s no shortage of legal drama to be enjoyed. And this Wednesday, actions from last week’s season premiere have consequences.

Season 7, Episode 2 is called “The Statue” but nobody is standing still this week. Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) may just have been named managing partner, but he’s already in trouble with the rest of the partners for a controversial move.

That move may or may not involve the arrival of a new character, Alex Williams, as Dulé Hill makes his first appearance in this episode and will be a recurring guest star on Suits throughout the rest of season.

Or it could have something to do with the fact that Harvey allowed Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty) to become a senior partner at Specter Litt, despite the fact that she’s not a lawyer and jumped a few steps up the company ladder.

Donna’s decision to insist on a partnership stake will have its own repercussions for the firm, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see other characters also demanding what they believe is theirs now that she’s gotten her seat at the table. Suits season 7 could get very thorny this Wednesday, and because this is Suits, that means we could be looking at a minefield of trouble.

"Harvey butts heads with his partners over a bold move. Mike pursues a pro bono case with the legal clinic. Donna’s actions raise tough questions at the firm."
