2. Matthew McConaughey – Texas Longhorns

Alright. Alright. Alright.

Matthew McConaughey is one of the more iconic movie stars in the world, winning numerous awards during his storied career. While he is an incredible family man, actor, and humanitarian, he is also one heck of a die-hard Texas Longhorns fan. Whether it is delivering speeches to the team, or just being a fixture on the sidelines, McConaughey bleeds Longhorn orange.

Football runs in McConaughey’s family, as his father was a 27th-round selection of the Green Bay Packers a long time ago. The 47-year-old actor actually still lives in Austin, Texas, and teaches at the University as well. He also attends nearly every game, and has supported the program in so many ways throughout the years.

During a motivational speech before the Notre Dame game back in 2016, McConaughey beat his chest like he did during his role in the Wolf of Wall Street. His speech was such an inspiration that they went out an pulled off an incredible overtime victory against the Fighting Irish, winning the game 50-47.

When you think of celebrity football fans, McConaughey has to quickly come to mind, or you just aren’t paying any attention. He goes to games, attends practices, and was a close friend to former head coach, Charlie Strong.

Hook ’em, Matt!
