Steelers’ Antonio Brown shows off his new Gucci cleats

Pittsburgh Steelers’ WR Antonio Brown has always been one of the more fashionable football players. Now he’s adding to his reputation with his Gucci cleats.

Antonio Brown is one of the most electrifying wide receivers in the NFL today. From his play on the field to his antics off of it, he’s one of the most popular names in the game. Earlier this year, the Pittsburgh Steelers signed Brown to a five-year contract worth $73 million, making him the highest-paid receiver in NFL history.

As a result, Brown is able to add to his closet off the field. He’s been one of the most fashionable athletes, sporting different cleats on the field. Now it looks like the Steelers’ wideout is straying away from the Nike or Adidas cleats and trying Gucci cleats now.

As you can see in the video that Brown posted on his Instagram story, these might be the shiniest cleats that we’ve ever seen. Giants’ WR Odell Beckham Jr. typically wears crazy looking cleats during the pre-game warmups, but this pair from Brown might top anything we’ve seen before.

The cleats sport a shiny silver with streaks of orange, and to top it off, there are magenta shoelaces. The NFL has rules regarding what type of cleats the players are supposed to wear. They gave the stars a week during the season to sport footwear for a cause they stood for. During the warmups, players are allowed to wear what they wish, but for the actual game, it must something that the NFL approves.

Brown might be sporting this new look during the preseason or warmups during the regular season. Make sure to keep your eyes out for them, I’m pretty sure they can be spotted from anywhere in the stadium.

The Steelers’ WR will have huge expectations heading into this season, with a big contract signed in the offseason. Let’s see if these new Gucci cleats can help him out.
