College football is right around the corner, so here’s how to locate FS1 on a number of major television service providers.

With teams around the nation beginning fall camp, the start of the 2017 college football regular season is officially under a month away.

The annual four months of insanity gets underway with Stanford taking on Rice on Aug. 26 in Sydney, Australia. Every remaining Saturday through mid-December will be jammed packed with action, in addition to a number of matchups on many weeknights.

Fans will need to brush up on their channel-changing skills, as a multitude of networks will broadcast games throughout the season. One network that will need to be a mainstay of every college football fanatic is FS1, which has ramped up its coverage since debuting in 2013.

FS1 will show premier regular season matchups plus the respective conference title games in both the Big Ten and Big 12 plus a full slate in the Pac-12. The network can be located on channel 219 for DirectTV customers, while those with other service providers can go to the Fox Sports website and enter their zip code plus broadcast network.

A few of the biggest contests of the year will be shown nationally on FS1, including “The Game” between bitter rivals Ohio State and Michigan on November 25 from Ann Arbor. Other major highlights include the annual Bedlam matchup between Oklahoma at Oklahoma State, Texas at USC, and Penn State and Ohio State.

Fans wanting to get an early look at 2017 Heisman Trophy contenders will want to tune into FS1 in the first few weeks of the season. Lamar Jackson will begin his title defense on September 2 against Purdue, while other prolific signal callers like Washington’s Jake Browning, Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield and Oklahoma State’s Mason Rudolph will also be featured in week one matchups.
