Steve Bartman is a World Series champion, per ring

Carm and Kayla discuss Steve Bartman receiving a World Series ring from the Chicago Cubs to try and right a wrong.

It was the worst night in the long, challenged history of historic Wrigley Field. Thankfully, it still is. You know the story. Chicago Cubs fans were ready to go to the World Series for the first time since 1945. Some of us now media types were there to root on the Cubs, while making money selling Budweiser to the passionate faithful. It all turned out so wrong when a foul ball down the left field line was deflected by Cubs fan Steve Bartman, one of many fans reaching for the ball. Moises Alou stomped up and down. Alex Gonzalez booted a double play ball. Dusty Baker sat there eating his toothpick. The Cubs choked away a 3-0 eighth inning lead in shocking, despicable fashion. Carm and Kayla talk about the biggest surprise about the Cubs classy gesture, giving a ring to Bartman.

Stephen Curry and Kyrie Irving are being accused of trolling LeBron James at Harrison Barnes’s wedding. Can’t an NBA player have some fun in the summer without it making it to the internet? If you can’t do an imitation dance of LeBron in the summertime, then when can you.

Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey came off very salty with his MVP voting displeasure. At least Morey was backing up his superstar James Harden. Minor props for loyalty.

Where will you be in 2028? Los Angeles will be hosting the summer Olympics. Kayla plans to be there covering the festivities, while not involved in a show called Carm and Kayla.

Tom Brady has a new wax figure that does not look like Tom Brady. Kayla does not like wax figures and wants to talk about her disgust.

Reminder: A decent human being does not get their jollies by being cruel to animals. That would include dragging a shark with a high powered boat. Super upsetting.
