Twin Peaks will try to move on from one of the most polarizing episodes in series history while still serving a healthy dose of Audrey Horne.

Ever since the Twin Peaks revival blew our minds with the introduction of the woodsmen in Part 8, it’s gone downhill ever since. The pace has slowed to a snail’s pace while they keep teasing us with information only to never fully reveal it. Last week’s episode may have been the tipping point for some people, as they had to sit through a French woman taking three minutes to leave.

Even though Twin Peaks has been the Gordon and Albert show so far, Audrey Horne’s cameo appearance might’ve been the most memorable part of the series. While she’s far from the same innocent young woman that she was 25 years ago, the scene became extremely hard to follow once she and her husband started dropping a ton of names. “You’re not gonna tell me what she said?” might honest to goodness be the defining line of this revival.

If the episode’s description means anything, it’s that we’ll be seeing Audrey and Charlie again. Here’s the synopsis for part 13, according to TV Guide:

"What story is that, Charlie?"

It’s not a good sign when a mystery series is introducing new plotlines instead of wrapping up old ones two-thirds of the way through. Fans will also be hoping to see more of Dale Cooper since he and his doppelganger had a combined 30 seconds of screen time last week.

What we do know is that the FBI’s investigation into Bill Hastings and Ruth Davenport will lead them back to Twin Peaks. From there, they can relay what they both know to try and track down Cooper together. With six episodes left, the pace better begin to pick up.
