Georgia Little League batter smashes monster grand slam (Video)

13-year old Georgia batter Jayce Blalock smashed a monster grand slam to the trees during a Little League World Series game over the weekend.
As the MLB is full tilt, we also have other baseball going on. The annual Little League World Series will take place later this month. Teams from all over the country and the globe are competing to be one of the 16 teams to make it to the finals in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
It’s still the regional round, but we might have already seen one of the best plays yet.
During an elimination game over the weekend between Georgia and South Carolina, 13-year old Jayce Blalock came up to plate and absolutely crushed a grand slam into the trees. It was a no-doubter once it left the bat.
My words don’t even do it justice, check the video out for yourself:

Someone sign this kid up for the Home Run Derby next year. You can bet that every MLB team is scrambling to try to figure out how to sign him to a future contract.
In 2006, the Little League outfield fences were moved from 205 ft to 225 ft. The committee might want to consider moving them even further next year. This wasn’t your ordinary home run, this one was absolutely raked. There wasn’t an official distance, but it would come close to going out in a major league park.
What makes this video even better is the commentary from the announcers. Just before Blalock comes up to bat, they are talking about his ability to hit the ball to the trees. Right on queue, Blalock did exactly that, leaving them in awe.
For those familiar with Blalock, it probably doesn’t come as a surprise. From the looks of it, he’s been hitting these kind of bombs for a while now.
Look out Aaron Judge, you might have some competition sooner or later.
