Before we know it, the 2017-18 NBA season will be here and now we know which games we’ll be watching during opening week

It feels like the NBA season just came to a close, with the Golden State Warriors winning their second title in three years by taking down LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. But the truth of the matter is, the beginning of the 2017-18 season will be here before we all know it in the month of October as Fall approaches.

On Thursday, we learned exactly which games we’ll be able to watch during the opening week of the season, as the league released the national TV schedule for tip-off week.

To get the week and season started on Oct. 17, we’ll get a rematch of the most recent Eastern Conference Finals on TNT as the Boston Celtics go on the road to take on the Cavaliers. We won’t have to wait long to see the Warriors in action, as they’ll be on right after the opening game, taking on the team many believe may see them come the Western Conference Finals, the Houston Rockets, with new star point guard Chris Paul.

Here’s a look at the complete national TV schedule that was released on Thursday for the opening week of the upcoming NBA season.

The NBA has always done a masterful job of making the opening week of the season seem special with some pretty amazing early matchups, and as you can see above, this year is no different. We’re getting a chance to see some of the biggest names in the league right off the bat and most of the title-contending teams as well.
