The NBA has announced the Christmas Day games for the 2017-18 season. Here are the 10 teams that will be playing on this special occasion.

The Christmas Day games in the NBA is a truly special event, similar to the NFL games on Thanksgiving. It’s a day that fans can spend with their family and watch basketball from morning to night. The games typically feature the biggest stars in the game, wearing special shoes and jerseys for the occasion.

The NBA announced its five Christmas Day games on Thursday and here they are below:

To start off the day, at 12 PM EST, the Philadelphia 76ers, featuring a young core of Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Markelle Fultz, will take their talents to Madison Square Garden to face off with the New York Knicks. The biggest question: will Carmelo Anthony be taking part in this game?

Then the prime-time afternoon game that’s at 3:00 PM EST will be an NBA Finals three-match, featuring the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors. The biggest question here is if Kyrie Irving will still be a member of the Cavaliers.

Following that game is a rematch of the Eastern Conference Semifinals between the Washington Wizards and the Boston Celtics. How will new Celtic Gordon Hayward look in his Christmas Day debut in Boston?

The Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder matchup should be great as well, featuring the new duos of Paul George-Russell Westbrook against Chris Paul-James Harden. These are the two teams that were newly thrown together to combat Golden State. Let’s see how they duel it out on Christmas.

Finally, the last game might be entertaining, as it features the young Los Angeles Lakers with Lonzo Ball against the new-look Minnesota Timberwolves with Jimmy Butler.
