AJ Styles knows exactly who he wants to face at WrestleMania and it’s basically the same person we all want him to face on the biggest stage

When it comes to the grand stage that is WrestleMania, there are certain matches as fans that we desperately want to see. As far as WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans next year goes, it’s safe to say the majority of WWE fans really want to see a Wrestle Kingdom 10 rematch between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura.

Well, the good news is, Styles is right there with the rest of us. During a recent appearance at Wizard World Columbus, Styles made it no secret that he wants to step into the ring with Nakamura one more time, this time within the confines of WWE and on the biggest show of the year.

“I’m picking Shinsuke,” Styles said. “Sorry, that’s nothing on Finn Balor. The reason why I say this is because at Wrestlemania, it’s not going to happen with Finn Balor and I. Why? Because he’s on Raw. Shinsuke’s my best chance getting into that Main Event picture at Wrestlemania. That’s why he wins the championship. I hope he wins it so I can get in there and wrestle him at WrestleMania.”

YES, PLEASE! GIVE THIS TO US NOW!

All things considered, it’s perfectly plausible that we get this match in New Orleans. Right now, it seems as if Nakamura is in line to pick up his first WWE Championship, as many are favoring him to take the title off of Jinder Mahal. Of course, there is that whole Baron Corbin-briefcase issue, but that could work itself out as well.

And Styles, well, he can’t stay away from the world title picture forever — he’s just too good. He’s doing a phenomenal job, along with Kevin Owens, of making the US title feel prestigious, but it’s only a matter of time until Styles is sniffing around the top belt once again.

Frankly, we don’t care how they get there, just get them there so they can tear the roof off the dome in New Orleans next spring.
