The main event did not disappoint right away for WWE SummerSlam, with Braun Strowman taking out the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar fast and furiously.

After a long night, the Barclays Center finally got the thing they were waiting for the entire night when the main event for the Universal title got underway. However, Braun Strowman decided that he didn’t want Brock Lesnar to be in on the fun for long.

Lesnar stood tall for the first few minutes of the match, with teases of confrontations with Roman Reigns and Strowman happening early on. Eventually, Lesnar and Strowman went at it, and the battle excited fans in a few ways.

Strowman shocked the crowd when he powerslammed Lesnar through one of the announcer’s tables with relative ease after the Universal Champion had been speared through a barricade, sending fans into an absolute frenzy.

With two more tables still to use, The Monster Among Men decided to go a little further to try and take Lesnar out of the action, and did the same thing through another announcer’s table.

Finally, Strowman then literally buried Lesnar with the third announcer’s table as the champion was writhing in pain after the second slam, immediately sending doctors out to the rescue for the champion to be stretchered to the back.

Strowman wasn’t too sympathetic for the champion, taunting him as he was stretchered out from the arena.

Lesnar came back shortly after to battle with Strowman in the center of the ring after Strowman had taken care of Reigns and Samoa Joe, but it didn’t take away the impact of the moment he had with Lesnar earlier in the match.

Regardless of what the finish of the match is, many will remember this night as the time Strowman absolutely buried Lesnar in a short span of time in the main event in Brooklyn.
